William S. Young of Upper Island Cove, age 85 years born December 14th, 1924, passed away peacefully at the Carbonear General Hospital on November 5th, 2010.

Predeceased by his wife Enid, parents William & Suzanna, sisters Rosella, Alfreda & Floria Lillian. He leaves to mourn sons Stanley ( Stella), Carl (Maxine) & Greg (Diane), daughters Jeanette (Dean Blankenship), Joyce (Harry Collins) and Pauline (Harry Sharpe), sister Phoebe (Les) and brothers Ralph (Audrey) & Gordon (Alice), twelve grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, as well a large circle of other relatives and friends.

Funeral Service to take place at St. Peter's Church, Upper Island Cove on Monday November 8th, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow in St. Peter's Cemetery, Upper Island Cove.
