Arthur H. Lamborn, a vice president of Shearson Lehman Hutton in Greenwich, Conn., and a broker in the sugar market for many years, died on Tuesday in Stamford (Conn.) Hospital. He was 61 years old and lived in New Canaan, Conn.

He died of complications resulting from diabetes, his family said. Mr. Lamborn was with his own firm and with Hayden Stone in New York before joining Shearson. He was born in Upper Montclair, N.J., and was a graduate of Canterbury School and Williams College.

He is survived by his wife, the former Helen Noel-Bentley; a son, Arthur Jr., and three daughters, Kathryn Blankenship and Amy and Julia Lamborn, all of New Canaan; a brother, Anthony, of New Zealand, and seven grandchildren.
