Bernard J. McCarroll, 64, of 2 Morton
St., Danbury, husband of Frances (Gustems) McCarroll, died June 18, 2001, at Danbury Hospital. He was
born Jan. 17, 1937, in Danbury, a son of the late John and Leona (Levigne) McCarroll.
He was a graduate of New Milford High School and served in the U.S.
Navy in the early 1960s. Mr. McCarroll was a longtime
Risdon Corp. employee, retiring after 30 years of service.
Besides his wife, Mr. McCarroll is
survived by a stepson, Richard
Blankenship of Danbury; a
stepdaughter, Deborah D’Amico of New Fairfield; two brothers,
Philip McCarroll and Paul McCarroll,
both of New Milford; four sisters, Patricia Martin of Florida, Jeanne Hulton of New Milford, Anne Adams of Bristol and Mary D’Emilio of New Milford; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at the Green Funeral Home, 57 Main
St., Danbury, today (Friday) at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Peter
Cemetery in Danbury.

Marc A. Boudreau, 40, of Broad Brook and formerly of Enfield, died
on Sunday, April 29, 2007 due to injuries he sustained in an automobile
accident. Born on July 24, 1966, he was the son of Ronald A. and Louyse (Laflamme) Boudreau of
Enfield. Marc was a free spirit who lived life to the fullest. He enjoyed motor
sports and racing with his brother on Go Karts. He had a passion for flying and
had earned his pilot's license. Marc also loved to build model remote control
airplanes and was a member of the Northern Connecticut Remote Control Club.
A loving son, brother, uncle, nephew and cousin, besides his
parents, Marc is survived by the love of his life, Laura Briggs, with whom he
made his home, his brother, Eric R. Boudreau of Leominster, MA; his sisters, Nathalie Boudreau of
Nashville, TN and Stephanie Boudreau and her husband, Terry
Blankenship of Pendleton, OR;
his godparents, Andre and Jeannette Boudreau of W. Springfield, MA; his nieces,
Nicole and Kayla Boudreau, several aunts, uncles, cousins and many good
friends.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.

Ezell B. Davis, Glastonbury, Conn., formerly of Bloomington, and
beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend, passed away Tuesday (Sept. 4,
2007) at Glastonbury Health Care Center. The daughter of Vera Hoskins Blankenship and Roy Manley Blankenship, Ezell was born in Garden City, Va., on Oct. 23, 1924. She
attended local schools and moved to Blacksburg, Va., after graduation from
William Byrd High School, to work at Virginia Polytechnic Institute, where she
met the love of her life, Melvin D. Davis.-;They were
married for 24 years before he passed away unexpectedly in 1971. Ezell
resided for many years in Bloomington before moving to Glastonbury in 1991 to
be near her daughter, Sandra Ahearn Goehring, and her
husband, Robert, and her much loved granddaughter, Allison Davis Ahearn.-; She
was an avid gardener and could be found tending her flowers daily.-;Ezell never forgot a birthday or anniversary and was always
prompt with a card or note to friends and relatives.-;She could always be
counted on for unusual Christmas and birthday gifts. She was a member of
the First Baptist Church in Bloomington, a retiree of Growmark
Inc. and was a lifetime member of the BroMenn
Hospital Auxiliary Service League.-;
Besides her daughter, son-in-law and granddaughter, she leaves a
son, Bruce Davis, Akron, Ohio; sister, Edra B.
Blakeley, Memphis, Tenn.; brother, Cloyd Blankenship,
Mullens, W.Va.; brother-in-law, Earle Greene,
Atlanta, Ga.; sister-in-law, Arleen Kennedy, Sweetwater, Texas; and special
grandchildren by marriage, Heidi Nekota, Robb Goehring and Scott Goehring;
numerous nieces, nephews and grand-nieces and nephews; a special friend and
caregiver, Marzanna Wojcik;
and close friends, Bill Semonchik and Murl Wunderle.
Ezell was preceded in death by her brother, Roy M. Blankenship Jr.; her sister, Colleen
Greene; brother-in-law, Earle Blakeley; and best friends, Bill and Nancy Beam
and Mildred Semonchik.
A graveside service will be 1:30 p.m. Friday at East Lawn Cemetery,
Bloomington, with the Rev. Robert Howard officiating. There will be no
visitation.

Charles F. Broderick, 81, of Laurel Rd., Windsor Locks, husband of
the late Gladys L. (Jones) Broderick entered eternal rest on Monday June 18,
2007 at the Veterans Adm. Hospital, St.
Petersburg, FL. He was born October 1st, 1925 in Pittsfield, MA, son of the
late Edward M. and Marion (Holland) Broderick.
He served in the Anti Tank Co 411
Infantry Regiment in the Army during World War II in the Rhineland and Central
Europe. He had been a salesman in the lighting industry for many years. He had
lived in Windsor locks since 1951.
He is survived by a daughter, Charlene Chaplin of Summerton, SC;
three grandchildren, Tina Blankenship of Denver, CO; Heather Skurdahl
of CO; and Jason Richardson of Payson, AZ; twelve great grandchildren; three
brothers, Richard Broderick of Lee, MA; James Broderick of Dunedin, FL; and
Paul Cella of Lenox, MA; a sister, Betty Evangelisto of Pittsfield, MA.
He was predeceased by a daughter, Carol Broderick.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 10 a.m. in the
Congregational Church of Windsor Locks 8 Main St., Windsor Locks followed by
burial in Grove Cemetery with military honors.

Sandra C. (Woodard) Almori, 69, of Old
County Road, Barkhamsted, beloved wife of John C. Almori, died Saturday, Dec. 26, 2009 at St. Francis
Hospital. She was born May 2, 1940 in Hartford, daughter of the late Ernest and
Ingrid (Pedersen) Woodard and had lived in North Canton prior to moving to Barkhamsted 40 years ago. Sandra was a graduate of Canton
High School, Class of 1958. Mrs. Almori worked at
both Canton High School and Northwestern Regional High School in Barkhamsted. She was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church,
Collinsville, the Farmington Valley Square Dance Club and a member of the Colts
softball team in Winsted.
Besides her husband of 49 years, she is survived by her two sons
and daughters-in-law, John C. Almori, Jr. and his
wife Laurie of Burlington and Jeffrey Almori and his
wife Laurel Boyd of Pittsboro, N.C.; her daughter and son-in-law, Shelly and
Albert DeLeeuw of Barkhamsted;
four grandchildren, Elijah, Brittney, Chelsea and Gabriel; her brother and
sister-in-law, James and Cathy Woodard; five sisters and four brothers-in-law,
Patricia and Raymond Leonard, Karen and Peter North, Nancy and Salvatore Daleo, Debra and Joseph Woodhall
and Bette Blankenship and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be celebrated Saturday, Jan. 2, at 1 p.m.
at Trinity Episcopal Church, 55 River Road, Collinsville with the Reverend
Linda M. Spiers officiating. Private burial will be
in the Trinity Episcopal Church Memorial Garden in the spring.

Dennis P. Tinsley, 91 of Middletown entered into eternal rest on
Monday April 2, 2007 at Middlesex Healthcare, Middletown. He was the beloved
husband of 56 years to the late Virginia Whisler
Tinsley (3/18/99). Dennis was born on Aug. 1, 1915 in Stigler, OK; a son of the
late Dennis L. and Ella
(Blankenship) Tinsley, and had
resided in Middletown for the past two years, and was a longtime resident of
Enfield and Windsor Locks.
Mr. Tinsley served his
country honorably for 28 years with the U.S. Navy. He was in the Pacific
Theater during WW II, then served as the chief engineering
officer on the U.S.S. Helena in 1950; the ship provided heavy gunfire in
support of the Inchon Invasion during the Korean War - having earned the rank
of Lt. Commander he retired from the service in 1963. He then was employed as
Director of Building and Grounds at Trinity College and later at St. Joseph's
College before officially retiring. Dennis volunteered to deliver meals for the
Meals on Wheels Program for 11 years, and was a member of the American Legion
Post 36 in Windsor Locks. On March 23, 07 he was honored by the State of CT
when he received the CT Veterans Wartime Service Medal.
Dennis is survived by his son, Dennis C. Tinsley & his wife,
Judy of Avon, his daughter, Shari Lascell & her
husband, Skip of Chester, his two beloved grandchildren, Tammy & Terry Lascell, two great grandchildren, Holly & Adam Lascell and a niece, Janice Hedlund
of AZ.
He was predeceased by a brother, Foster Tinsley.
A Memorial Service will be held on Sat. Apr. 7, 2007 at 11:30am in
the Congregational Church of Windsor Locks 8 Main St. Windsor Locks. Interment
will take place in the Massachusetts National VA Cemetery, Bourne, MA at the convenience of his family.

Blankenship Migliaro, Deena L. - Age 39, of 34 Guilford Court, East Haven,
CT, died on Wednesday, May, 2, 2007 suddenly at Yale New Haven Hospital. She is
the wife of Salvatore J. Migliaro, Jr. Deena was born
in Flint, MI on February 6, 1968 to James R. Blankenship
of Branson, MO and Diana L. Jewell King of Lennon, MI. Deena owned and operated
Jemco Environmental and was a member of St. Vincent dePaul Home School Association.
She leaves a daughter Julianna Migliaro and step son Salvatore J. Migliaro,
III both of East Haven, two brothers and their wives James and Marci
Blankenship and Todd and Bridget
Blankenship both of Nixa, MO,
two sisters and their husbands Jody and Frank Barracco
of Chesterfield, MI and Michelle and Leonidas Bell of NY, NY, a step mother
Mrs. James (Paula) Blankenship; father in law, Salvatore Migliaro, Sr. and a brother-in-law and his wife John and
Christina Migliaro. She is also survived by 18 nieces
and nephews and countless friends.
She is predeceased by her maternal grandparents Herman and Mary
Jewell and her maternal grandparents, James and Elvine Blankenship.
Funeral will leave the East Haven Memorial, 425 Main St., Monday
morning at 9:20 for a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Vincent dePaul Church at 10 o'clock. Burial will be in St. Lawrence
Cemetery.

William Curly Clark, age 69 of Derby, CT and Morganton, NC entered
into peaceful rest October 3, 2009 at the Griffin Hospital, Derby. Mr. Clark
was born March 21, 1940 in Morganton, NC, son of the late William Taft and Margaret Fannie (Blankenship) Clark. William was a semi-retired painter and was formerly employed by
Chromium Process, Shelton. Curly enjoyed hunting, playing cards and being at
the pool hall with his friends.
Mr. Clark leaves his loving family including three sons, William
Clark and his wife Heidi of Torrington, Edward Taft Clark of Derby, and Charles
Frank Clark and his wife Lorraine of Ansonia, two daughters, Suzanne Dana and
her husband Thomas of Derby, and Riva Clark of New Haven, three brothers,
Sanford, Taft, and Frank Clark, and three sisters,
Reba Blankenship, Jesse Faye Arnold, and Linda Smith all in
North Carolina, eleven grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and his close
friend Donnie.
A Celebration of Mr. Clarks life will be Thursday at 7:00 p.m. in
the Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home, 161 West Church Street, Seymour. Family and
friends are invited to call also on Thursday prior to the service from 5:00 to
7:00 p.m. Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
