Wednesday, May, 2, 2007 suddenly at Yale New Haven Hospital. She is the wife of
Salvatore J. Migliaro, Jr. Deena was born on in Flint, MI on February 6, 1968
to James R. Blankenship of Branson, MO and Diana L. Jewell King of
Lennon, MI.
Deena owned and operated Jemco Environmental and was a member of
St. Vincent dePaul Home School Association.
She is predeceased by her maternal grandparents Herman and Mary
Jewell and her maternal grandparents,
James and Elvine Blankenship.

Randy Lamar
Blankenship, age 67 [1952], passed away
peacefully at his home in Eastman, Georgia on Sunday, May 17, 2020. He was born
in Eastman, where he was raised until the age of 13, at which point he moved to
Atlanta with his family.
Randy began
working for the City of Atlanta / Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport at
the age of 18 where he spent nearly 30 years before retiring. Mr. Blankenship
was a man who lived life in all its fullness. There was never a dull moment in
his presence and he would light up the room with his laughter and great sense
of humor. He was an avid Georgia Bulldogs fan who never missed a game. He loved
music of all kinds, but admired Elvis Presley most of all, and would sing you
an Elvis tune at the drop of a hat…whether you liked it or not. He also enjoyed
fishing, working in the yard, computer tech and more than anything quality time
spent with family, especially his wife Tawana.
Randy was the son
of the late Madeline Parkerson Blankenship and Ralph Wilbur Blankenship, widower of Tawana Giddens Blankenship, and was preceded in death by his sister, Vickie Blankenship Patterson.
He is survived
by his four children, Kevin “Bug” Blankenship of Athens, Christie Blankenship Brown of Eastman, Timothy Shepherd of Eastman, Tina Collins of Eastman,
and four grandchildren – Isabel
Blankenship of Athens, Kaley and Kylan “Skeebo”
Brown of Eastman and Jeda Faith “Sweet Pea” Rawlins of McRae along with many
nieces, nephews, cousins and countless friends.

June Kelly Blankenship, age 85, of Grayson, Georgia, formerly of Douglasville, Georgia, passed

Tennessee to a farming family and spent most of her early years on farms in
middle Tennessee and northeast Arkansas.
Having been
raised on farms and having a mother who had a love of gardening, June became a
talented gardener. She always maintained a vegetable garden in her backyard and
had an immaculately landscaped yard. June was an outgoing individual who was
easy to get to know and had many friends. She was an avid bowler and was a
member of both a ladies and mixed league for many years. She was an active
member of First Baptist Church of Lithia Springs for 40+ years and was involved
in various church activities including Keenagers and Vacation Bible School. She
also delivered meals for Meals on Wheels for many years.
June is
preceded in death by her parents, Woodrow and Maggie Kelly, and brother, D.W. Kelly.
Survivors
include her children, Wendy Hill (Mike) of Snellville, Georgia, Gary Steven
“Steve” Wood and Gregory “Greg” Wood of Decatur, Georgia; brother, Joe Kelly

Cecil Edgar Blankenship, 86, of
Jamestown went to meet Jesus peacefully Tuesday, May 26, 2020, while working on
his lawn mower in his garage at home. Cecil was born Feb. 1, 1934, to Virgil and Ethel
(Branson) Blankenship.
Cecil was a 50-year Free Mason in the
Hazelrigg Lodge #200. He retired from the Indianapolis Star News. Cecil was in
the Local 440 Union as a pipefitter (NOT A DAMN PLUMBER). Cecil took pride in
his woodworking skills in his shop at home. He loved being outside, hunting,
fishing, gardening and mowing his yard. Cecil had many names — Cecil, Dad,
Pappaw, Grandpa, Big Pappaw, Great Pappaw and Old Pappaw. He was called each of
these names in love by many. He greeted others with “you ugly ole’ cuss.”
Cecil married the love of his life,
Margaret Gordon, on Oct. 19, 1950. Together, they raised four boys on
their farm just outside of Jamestown, Cecil (Maggie) of Lebanon, Jim (Janet) of New
Ross, Mike (Luann) of New
Ross and Jeff.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son
Jeff; and several
nieces and nephews.
He loved all 10 of his grandkids

Lucille was a Loving mother and grandmother who attended the Hope

time with her family and tending to her flowers. She worked several years at
the Dollar General store. There she enjoyed talking and catching up with her
customers.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by a half brother,
Jesse James Spencer and special friend Edna Horton.

on May 17. According to Hatfield Volunteer Fire Department Chief Jody Bailey,

bowling. He also enjoyed Bingo and all
types of card games. He loved family,
especially his grandchildren, and will be greatly missed.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in
death by two brothers, Kenneth Blankenship and Randy Blankenship; his first
wife, Laxie Ramey Blankenship; and
his second wife, Tina K. Jones Blankenship.
Luther is survived by one son, Marty Blankenship of Morehead; two
daughters, Teresa Blankenship of Morehead and Susan “Susie” Jones and husband Donnie of West

Kenneth R. Blankenship age 80 of Muir,
MI passed away Saturday, May 30, 2020. He was born on September 27, 1939 in
Jellico, Tennessee, the son of Luther and Rosetta (Lay) Blankenship.
Kenneth was raised in Eagen, TN, a former
mining town located in the Cumberland Mountains. He was a tall man with a quiet
voice, a quick smile, and a gentle laugh who loved to socialize. He had a warm,
kind, caring spirit, and was able to make friends quickly. He was a self-taught
musician who learned to play the guitar and piano by ear. His most favorite
thing in life was cars. Anything to do with cars and they had to be
meticulously clean!
Kenneth was an auto body technician for
the majority of his life, working alongside his brothers, Ronnie and Gary, in the
Traverse City, MI area for many years. He also worked as a sewing machine
mechanic at the former Jolly Kids clothing company in Belding, MI. He also
worked at the former Superior Furniture Company in Lowell, MI as well as the
Detroit Gasket Company.
Surviving are his children Kenneth W. (little
Ken) Blankenship (Tina Morales) of Muir, MI and Denver, CO, Sue (El) Palmer of
Lyons, MI, Laurie (Allen) Truesdell of Sparta, MI, Kimberly Wilkie (fiancé Justin Bradbury)

passed away on May 24, 2020, at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital. She was born on
October 8, 1954, in Adrian to Hugh and Hazel (Dotson) Raper.
She married Rod Blankenship and he preceded
her in death after 25 years of marriage. In 2015, Donna married Dale Chase and
he survives. Donna worked for the Forensics Center in Ypsilanti as a Supervisor
for approximately 30 years. She enjoyed cooking, baking, dancing, and sitting
on her porch. She loved all animals, especially her dogs.
In addition to her first husband, Rod,
she was preceded in death by her mother.
In addition to her husband and her
father, she is survived by her three children, Jeri Parker, Josh (Brandi) Blankenship, and Jamie (Sarah) Marr; a
brother, Randy Raper; four grandchildren, Nick and Alexis Marr, Breanna and Mike
Blankenship; two great grandchildren; and special friend, Diane Echelbarger.
Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, all
services for Donna will be private with Rev. William Van Valkenburg
officiating. Burial will be in Lenawee Hills Memorial Park, Adrian.

Joyce Ann Merriman, 55, of Beckley,
went to be with her Lord and Savior on May 3, 2020 at her home following a
short illness. Born July 16, 1964, in Welch, WV, Joyce was the daughter of the
late James
Blankenship and Marie Lafferty Blankenship.
In addition to her parents, she is
preceded in death by her; brother Brian Keith Blankenship, infant sister,
Becky
Sue Blankenship; grandparents, John & Inez Blankenship, and Jesse &
Margaret Lafferty.
Those left to cherish her memory include
her daughter Amee Murdock of Bassett VA, grandchildren, Nadilee Murdock, Brodee Adams, Brother Michael
Blankenship of Oak Hill, and nephew Tyler Blankenship. A special sister-in-law
Karen
Blankenship and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins also survive.
Funeral services will be held at 1 pm,
Saturday, May 9, 2020, at Pine Grove Baptist Church at Ravencliff with Rev.
Jonathan Cresong officiating. Burial will follow in the Pine Grove Baptist
Church Cemetery. Melton Mortuary and Cremation Center
