Survived by wife, Janice M. Mayo; mother, Thelma M. Mayo, Baker; four daughters, Elizabeth Beadle, Beulah, N.D., Derrah Blankenship, Monroe, Sarrah Knapps, Baker, and Apple O'Quinn, Zachary; a son, Jonathon E. Baldwin, O. D., Jack. Died Thursday, May 18, 1989, at Medical Center of Baton Rouge. He was 73, a native of Monroe and resident of Baton Rouge. He was a retired optometrist and U.S Navy aviator and veteran of World War II.

Visiting at Welsh Funeral Home Guardian Chapel, after 8 a.m. until religious services at 2 p.m. Saturday, conducted by the Rev. Pete Spitzkeit. Burial in Roselawn Memorial Park.

Survived by two sons, Dr. Jeffery "Tim" Baldwin, Chicago, Ill., and David Jack Baldwin, Baton Rouge; a stepson, Bobby Blankenship, French Settlement; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Howard (Mary) Madison, Escudido, Calif.; a sister, Daisy Virginia Baldwin, New Orleans; a brother, John Wesley Baldwin, Borger, Texas; former wife, Cloanah Baldwin, Baton Rouge; and three grandchildren.

Blankenship, Macon O'Bryant "MO". Died 12:40 p.m. Tuesday, June 13, 1989, at his residence in Baton Rouge. He was 57, and a native of Baton Rouge.

He was a consultant for Deltech Corporation (formerly Foster Grant Corporation) and was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean conflict.

Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home, 825 Government St., noon to 10 p.m. Thursday and 8 a.m. until religious services at 10 a.m. Friday. Burial in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.

Survived by wife, Ann Parrish Blankenship, Baton Rouge; a daughter, Bonnie Blankenship, Baton Rouge; three sons, Dale Blankenship, Charlotte, N.C., J.R. Blankenship, Washington, D.C., and Howard Blankenship, Dallas, Texas; two sisters, Ella Amiee Walton, Seal, Calif., and Dr. Elise Martha Blankenship, Richmond, Va.; and four grandchildren, Keith Blankenship , Blaine, Chad and Blake Jackson, all of Baton Rouge.

Services for Mrs. Dorene Blankenship were Saturday at Pafford Funeral Home with Rev. Earl Owens officiating. Burial was in Lexington Cemetery. Mrs. Blankenship, 52, died Tuesday afternoon at her home in Monroe LA after a long illness. She was a Decatur County native and had lived in Monroe several years.

She leaves a son, Stephen Guy of Monroe; two daughters, Mrs. Virginia Ann Cox of Monroe and Wanda K. Blankenship of Salt Lake City Utah; two brothers, William Pope of Centerville and Clarence of Bath Springs; a sister, Mrs. Lorene Lancaster of Fort Lauderdale FL; her mother, Mrs. C. M. Pope of Bath Springs and a grandchild.
