Anna S. Bibeau, 96, beloved mother,
grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, passed away on Thursday, September 3,
1998. She and her husband, Ed, moved to Albuquerque in 1947. That same year,
the opened and operated Ed's Super Market, a neighborhood grocery store, on
1418 Grand NE. Anna was a member of St. Charles Borromeo
Catholic Church and when her husband preceded her in death in 1965, it was her brave spirit and her deep faith that guided
her through the years. in 1992, Anna became a resident
of Mission Manor and through the help of the staff, she participated in new
activities, made new friends, and still enjoyed the visits of family and old
friends. Anna will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her three children and their spouses, Fernand A. Bibeau and his wife,
Phyllis, Claire M. Blankenship and her husband, Clarence, and Edward E. Bibeau and his wife,
Bonnie; two sisters, Eva Marquis of Nashua, NH and Juliette Coddington
of Albuquerque; 14 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and four
great-great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of her life will be held Monday, 7:00 p.m. to 9:00
p.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel, 1111 University Blvd. NE,
with Pastor Clarence
Blankenship officiating. Mass
will be celebrated Tuesday, 9:30 a.m., at St. Charles Borromeo
Catholic Church, 1818 Coal Pl. SE, with Father Normand Falardeau,
Celebrant. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be
Anna's grandsons, Daniel E. Bibeau, David A Bibeau, Robert Bibeau, Gary Blankenship, Dale Blankenship, James
Blankenship, Paul Blankenship, and Grant Blankenship.

Marie F. Rice, 75, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away December
1, 1998. She was a Licensed Practical Nurse for 25 years in Brooklyn, New York
and at Presbyterian Hospital in Albuquerque, specializing in Pediatrics.
She is survived by her daughters, Sandra Rice and Colleen Rice; one
grandchild, Jamal Rice; sister, Geraldine Smith; and one brother, Gerome Smith.
Funeral services will be Monday, December 7, 1998, 1:00 p.m., at
Calvary Chapel, 4001 Osuna Road NE, with C.B. Blankenship officiating. Interment will follow at
Sunset Memorial Park. Hillcrest Funeral Home 225 San Mateo NE 265-5959

Brenda Jarman (Austin) Montano, 41, a
former resident of Albuquerque, died suddenly Sunday evening in Carson City,
NV. She is survived by her husband and Knight in shining armor, Daniel B.
Montano; her devoted sons, Travis, Justin and Derek Austin and Daniel A. Saindon-Montano; her mother, Donna Jarman;
and her brothers and best friends, Cliff Jarman and
wife, Nancy and Eric Jarman and wife, Jessica. Her
family also included Huguette Montano, Randy and Jenni Austin, Brent Knudtson and
wife, Michelle, Grace Berdino and husband, Victor, Nyla Blankenship, Cathy Knudtson, Cheryl, Paul and
David Jarman, Michael Stafford, Tommy Blankenship, Shawn, Jason and Ryan Knudtson
and many more cousins. She was preceded in death by her father, Alfred J. Jarman; maternal grandparents, Thelma and Henry Knudtson; paternal grandparents, Ann and Alfred Jarman, Sr.; and uncles, Glen and Boyd Knudtson,
Jerry Jarman and wife, Betty. Brenda was born in
Albuquerque on May 22, 1958.
She was the oldest of three children born to Donna Knudtson Jarman and Alfred J. Jarman. Brenda graduated from Manzano
High School in 1977 and attended Muir Technical Institute where she received
her paralegal certification. She married Daniel B. Montano on May 25, 1991.
They moved to Carson City, NV in 1997 from Incline Village. Prior
to that they had lived in Colorado and Albuquerque. Brenda was employed
as a legal assistant by Allison, Mackenzie, Hartman, Soumbeniotis
& Russell, Ltd. She enjoyed drinking cafe lattes with friends, spending
time with her family, and she also loved hot air ballooning. Brenda's favorite
color was purple. She was a good mother and adored her dog, Penny. Brenda was
secretary of the Carson City Oakland Raiders Booster Club. For those who did
not know her, know that this world is less one beautiful person who touched
many lives.
A celebration of Brenda's life will be held Saturday, 11:00 a.m.,
at French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. Chapel, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE. Interment will
follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.

Alma Louise Holterman, 85, longtime
resident of Espanola, died Friday, May 24, 1996 in Borger, TX. She was a member
of the First Bap tist Church, Valley Eastern Star
#68, Espa¤ola Hospital Auxiliary and a member of Pea
Ridge Presbyterian Church from 1926 to 1963.
She was preceded in death by her husband, A.C. Holterman
in 1991; son, Dan C. Holterman in 1994. She is
survived by her daughter, Cheryl Reese and husband Doug of Borger, TX.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m.today
at First Baptist Church on La Joya Street with Rev.
Bob Stokes offici ating.
Burial will follow at Loma Vista Ceme tery in Alcalde with the
following serving as pallbearers: Doug Reese, Larry Hines, Don Norris, Jim
Turner, Martel Livermore and C. L. Hunter. Honorary pallbearers named are:
Rodney Stevens, Everett Whaley, Woody Blankenship , Al Wilson and Ray Perez.

Leonard (Lynn) Medord Blankenship , 80, a retired businessman, died peacefully at his home near Santa
Fe, on January 27, 1994, after a short illness. Lynn Blankenship was born
September 04, 1913 in Avery, Texas the son of Jessie Aiken
and H.L. Blankenship . After working as a young man for Dowzer
Electric of Hutchinson, Kansas, he established contracting businesses in Craig,
Colorado and Mt. Home, Arkansas before settling in 1976 in Santa Fe, where he
founded Char Designs, Inc. with his Family. He and the former Adelene Willey had been married 54 years on January 06.
In addition to his wife, his survivors include: a brother, Wesley of Benton, Arkansas; daughters: Char de Vazquez
of Santa Fe, Judy Blankenship and Sherry Stein of
Portland, Oregon; and grandsons: Scott Maddux of San Francisco, Jesse Stein of
Tokyo, Japan, and Demian Alex and Aurelio Vazquez of
Austin, Texas. A brother, Doug, preceded him in death.
Memorial services will be held February 12 at 3:00 p.m. at the
United Church of Santa Fe, with the Rev. Talitha
Arnold officiating. A private internment will be held
at a separate time.
