FIERY, 3-CAR CRASH KILLS 7 ON OHIO ROAD

Eaton, O., Oct.23 (AP)--Seven persons, including four members of a Lucerne Valley, Cal., family, died early today in a fiery, three-car crash at an intersection in western Ohio about nine miles from the Indiana border. Two other persons were injured. Five of the victims burned to death in the California car which was headed east in U. S. highway 40 about 10 miles north of here. A sixth person was thrown from that vehicle and escaped serious injury. The Ohio highway patrol listed the dead as Roger H. Rideout, 40; his wife, La Donna, 38; their daughters, Rotina Marie, 9, and Dawn Ann, 7; and another passenger in their car, Leon Blankenship, about 30, all of Lucerne Valley. The seventh victim was unidentified.
