Hall Curtis Sr. age 83 of Okla. City, passed away Sunday after a
long illness, at a local nursing home. Member of South Memorial Baptist, was a
long time resident of OKC.
Survived by 3 sons, Curtis Hall Jr., Russell Hall, and Bill Hall,
all of OKC; 4 daughters, Oleta Barnett, Dorothy Mastin, both of OKC, Betty Schroeder of Muskogee, Loretta Blankenship of Magnolia TX; 25 grandchildren, 27

president of Phi Gam Dames. She was an active member of St. Luke's United
Methodist Church and of the Clyde Harrison Class, where she served in many capacities.
She is survived by her husband, Lindsey L. Long Jr., whom she
married in 1955; her mother, Margaret Dillman; sons, Douglas Blankenship and Lindsey L. Long III and his wife,
Vita, all of OKC; a brother, Bob Dillman and his
wife, Carol of Middletown, N.J.; and 2 grandchildren, Lindsey IV and Candy.
Private graveside services will be held for family members.

Interment will be at Resthaven Memory Gardens.

Massey, W. T. ""Budd'', died
Wednesday, September 27, 1989, of complications following an aortal aneurysm on
July 11, 1989. Budd was
born on April 8, 1924 to Lee and Florence Massey, of Geary, OK. He was reared
in that community, and graduated from Bridgeport High School in 1942.
Budd served in the United States Air Force from 1942-1945. On
September 10, 1944, Budd married Joanna Lou Blankenship, of Bridgeport, OK. Two children were born
to this marriage, Joseph Kent in 1952, and Melanie in 1956.
Following his discharge from the service they settled in OKC, were
Budd graduated from Hill's Business University in 1946. He was then employed by
Anderson-Prichard Oil Company where his interest in petroleum engineering was
sparked. Budd and Jo moved to Norman, OK, where he pursued this passion for
industry at the University of Oklahoma, and graduated with a degree in
Petroleum Engineering in 1951. Following his graduation, Budd was employed by
Schlumberger Well Service company. He and Jo moved to
Cushing, OK, where he became an independent oil and gas producer, establishing
Massey & Moore Oil Company, which lasted 20 years, and was purchased by the
W.R. Grace & Company in 1974. Budd and his son, Kent, then formed the
Massey & Massey partnership, which was responsible for the drilling of
nearly a hundred wells in Garfield and Major counties. In 1982, Budd and Jo
moved from Cushing to OKC , where Budd continued to
oversee his oil and gas operations.
The Masseys' love of sunshine, golf, and
the desert resulted in their establishing a residence in Carefree, AZ, which in
1988, became a permanent residence as Budd closed his OKC office, and continued
to operate his oil and gas business from Carefree. Budd's outreach included
many church and social organizations in both Oklahoma and Arizona.
Budd served on the Board of Directors of Oklahoma Military Academy
and was an ardent supporter of a conservative politics, and a champion of
education. He attained the 32nd Degree in the Masonic Lodge, having joined
Lodge No.229 in 1946 (now Hinton Lodge).
Survivors include his wife, Jo; his mother,
Florence, of Norman; his son Joseph Kent and his wife, Pamela, of Carefree; his
daughter Melanie of Los Angeles; 2 sisters, Dolores Burns, of Holly, CO, and
Amelia Dougerty, of OKC; a granddaughter, Dua, of LaJolla, CA, and 20
nieces and nephews.
Budd was preceded in death by his father, Lee, in 1964, and his
brother, Raysel Lee, in 1960.
Services will be held at Wesley United Methodist Church, N.W. 25th
& Classen, OKC on Saturday, September 30, 1989 at
1:00 P.M., interment will be at the Bridgeport Cemetery, at 3:00 P.M. Under the direction HAHN-COOK/STREET & DRAPER.

Blankenship D. E. "Deb'', 64, of OKC died Saturday. He was a Deacon, active in Baptist
Brotherhood Disaster Relief, and Baptist Builders, a Mason, Gideon, and a WW II
Navy veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Blanche; son and daughter-in-law, Bill and Margaret Blankenship; grandsons, Scott and Mike; daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and Chuck
Coleman; granddaughters, Kathy and Kelli; sisters, Alline Huddleston, and Opal Martin, of
OKC; brother, Donald of San Diego, CA.
Viewing at the funeral home until 10pm, Tuesday, services 10am,
Wednesday, West Tenth Street Baptist Church.

December 24, 1989. She was a longtime member and Elder Emeritus of The Village
Christian Church, member of Business & Professional Womens
Club, the Order of the Eastern Star, and the PEO.
She was preceded in death by her husband John Doolen
in 1982.
Survivors include nieces, Charlene Youniacutt
of OKC, Peggy Neal of San Antonio, TX, Jan Seville of Phoenix, AZ; nephews, Art Blankenship of Phoenix, AZ, A.D. Davis of Woodward,
OK, Douglas Blankenship of OKC, and several great nieces and great
nephews; stepdaughter, Donna Engleman of Battle
Creek, MI; and 3 step grandchildren.
Services will be held at 12 noon, Wednesday, December 27, 1989 at
the Village Christian Church, officiated by Dr. David W. Hockensmith,
burial to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
