Richard Arlan "Dick" Johnson (1934-1999) of Lander died June 30 at the Lander Valley Medical Center. He was born Oct. 7, 1934, in Holling, Neb., to Edward and Mildred (Van Matre) Johnson. Mr. Johnson had been a truck driver for 18 years and worked at Jack Siler's Ace Hardware Store and Hallam Inc. He married Roselynne Fay Sprout on April 6, 1957.

Mr. Johnson is survived by his wife, Fay Johnson of Lander; three daughters, Cindy Reed of Glenrock, Tammy Lantz of Cheyenne and Vickie Blankenship of Riverton; two brothers, Willis Johnson of Riverton; and Ray Johnson of Lander; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Betty Vialpando; and four nephews.

Services were held Saturday at Mountain View Baptist Church in Lander. Interment will be in the Mount Hope Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Hudson's Funeral Home, Lander.
